Below are some of my recommendations for what to purchase for your vacation as well as a full packing list that's linked to my downloadable packing list.

Luggage and Packing Cubes

Dakine Split Rolling Luggage

We've owned our Dakine luggage for over 10 years and it's still in great condition. They recently came out with the split luggage that has more storage and separate pockets. You can find the 110L luggage here or the 85L luggage here.

Hip Pack/Fanny Pack

We love our Dakine Hip packs. They are great for hikes and walks or adventuring during our vacation as they fit our keys, phones and a few other smaller items in them. You can find different colors here.

Packing Cubes

Packing cubes are amazing! They help you fit more into your luggage and help you find your items easier. They can also separate your items if you're traveling with another person. My Husband and I often pack our own cubes and have different colors so we can find out items easier. Links to some packing cubes are here.

I also like these Travel Jars for my medications like Tylenol etc.

These travel containers are great if you aren't checking your luggage and want to bring shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc as they are TSA approved.

Travel Pillow

I love this travel pillow. It wraps your head really well so your head doesn't bob around when you're sleeping. It comes with a small pouch that makes packing it easy.

Purse, Wallet and Backpacks

Purse and/or Wallet

I think it's very important that your purse and/or wallet be RFID, which means your credit card information cannot be scanned. I also like purses that are slash proof so someone can't cut the strap off you.

Travelon has some great products for this. I love this purse and took it to Europe with me. I use it for all of my vacations now as it's slim but protects me. View the purse here on Amazon.

I also have this Travelon Wallet that holds all of my cards, money and even my passport. This is great if you have a purse you love but want your wallet to protect your cards and passport. View the wallet on Amazon here.

I also use a smaller hard RFID to put into my Travelon purse if I don't need the larger wallet. View the options on Amazon here.

Backpack

If we're going on vacation, we usually like to pack a backpack to load our items into for the day. We opted for these Nike Bags as they're mesh. So they're great if you're in the sand or when your bag gets damp, it'll air out. It also has lots of pockets and you can see where your items are at. It comes in various colors here on Amazon.

Electronics

Kindle

I love packing my kindle on my vacations. Not only do I not need to haul around hard copy books, but I can download a million books into my Kindle for my vacation and then turn it on airplane mode so the library won't take them back during my vacation. I love that the kindles charge lasts weeks, I can read at night or on the plane or beach with the Paperwhite version. I download free books from my local library but you can also buy books on Amazon to add to your Kindle. Check out the Paperwhite Kindle on Amazon here.

I also put my Kindle into a case to protect it as well as hold it easier. This case has a stand and a part you can put your hand into, to easily hold it in bed, on the beach or plane. Check out the various case covers on Amazon here.

Headphones

My Husband and I both use the Jabra earbuds. They are wireless/bluetooth and cancel out the noise. They also come with an app where you can play ocean sounds, etc to block out the noise. You can play your music off your phone or watch shows you've downloaded to your phone as well. The link to them on Amazon is here.

Camera

Everyone always asks us what camera we use for our phots and videos and the answer for the last 10+ years has been a GoPro. They truly are amazing and 100% worth the cost. You can download photos and videos immediately to your phone to edit and upload. If you want to save some money, you could opt for the previous release as those are less money. We also bought the waterproof case as we've had one leak without the case even though they say they're waterproof. For our Tahiti vacation my Husband bought the dome for our GoPro to take over/under water photos.

Check out the GoPro 11 on Amazon here or check out the 9 which is $100 less here or the 8 which is $200 less here.

Check out the waterproof case for a GoPro here.

Check out the GoPro dome case here.

Portable Charger

I don't go anywhere without my Universal Charger. I take it to the beach if I'm going for the day, on the airplane and on all my vacations. It can charge your phone multiple times. The link on Amazon is here.

Universal Adapter/Charger

I bought this Universal Adapter for our trip to Tahiti as I knew their outlet were 220V. I love that this works for multiple counties and can has 2 USB charging ports so my Husband and I could both charge our phones. The link on Amazon is here.

Miscellaneous Items

Towel Clips

These towel clips are great for cruises and tropical vacations where you'll be laying on a beach chair. You can lay your towels on the chair then use the clip to secure the towel to your chair so the wind won't blow it away. I like these towel clips.

Tumbler Cups

I love these tumbler cups. Most all inclusive resorts, cruises and destinations no longer use straws. I don't know about you, but drinking a frozen Pina Colada is really difficult without a straw! Bring these cups along and ask the bartenders to put your drinks in them instead! Wine Tumblers or 20oz Tumbler Cups.

Liquid IV

These are great if you get dehydrated easily in the heat or plan to be drinking lots, or hiking and in the heat. They have 3x hydration and taste great. I get migraines from the heat and these help keep them away. Check out the flavors here.

Body Glide

You might be thinking WHAT?? But Body Glide is amazing if you're in the heat and saltwater as when you walk, your legs or anything else might chafe. This helps with chafing.

Bye Bye Bloat Pills

I LOVE these pills. Every time I fly, I find my stomach hurts. These pills have been amazing at making sure I feel wonderful for the entire flight. They include ginger, fennel and some other ingredients.
