How to Spend a Day on St. Croix

Updated: Feb 9

We arrived on St Croix by cruise, so we didn't get to see too much of the island. We wanted a nice beach day so we opted for Sand Castle on The Beach which was only a 10-minute walk from the cruise port. Day passes at the resort are $25 per person and include a beach chair, shared umbrella, Wi-Fi, outdoor showers, restrooms, and two swimming pools. You can also choose from a bottle of water or a free ice-cold rum punch! Day passes are first come first serve so it's recommended you arrive as soon as your cruise docks. You also have access to the restaurant if you get hungry during the day. The beach mainly has hotel guests and cruise day pass holders on it so it's very quiet. The water was amazing and was crystal clear with no large waves. If I'm back in St. Croix, I'd definitely go to Sand Castle on the Beach again.
